Pediodectes - Pediodectes - female

Pediodectes - Pediodectes - Female
Grey forest , Bexar County, Texas, USA
June 23, 2021
Size: Roughly 2 inches
This is my first post on this site after seeing it used by others on Inaturalist and hoping it will help me with my pediodectes problem. anyways I found this specimen odd as it didn’t resemble either p.haldemanii or (suspected but not confirmed) P. Bruneri. it has a noticeable terracotta red colored striped down its back. does not have the stripes on the femur as many (but not all) bruneri have. seems to be an adult female. She has a voracious appetite, eating both a striped horse fly and camel cricket in one sitting. im aware pediodectes taxonomy is not well understood but any help is welcome :^)
