Strange barbed headed Arthropod

I originally did not disturb the leaf on which this casing was found (thought it was alive). I Went back & casing was still so I moved it to sunlight & took additional pics.

Lady Beetle Pupa
That black part where it is attached to the leaf is the shed skin from the larva.
