Plant Bug -
Plagiognathus
Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut, USA
June 27, 2021
Size: 3.6 mm
I have begun seeing these in various places in the garden. A quick pass through Miridae did not result in a match for me.

Plagiognathus
There have been a lot of photos of black (probably)
Plagiognathus
with silvery setae posted lately, though I can't say they all belong to the same species or not (probably not, or at the very least they're a different species from the one I've pictured below, but they share very similar characteristics besides the coloration of the antennae and how prominent or not the dark markings of the tibia at the tibial spines are.)

Thank you
Thank you for your helpful comment. I see other photos of Plagiognathus very similar to mine, such as #1558626. Of the species for which there is a BugGuide page,
P. politus
seems the closest match.
