Psyrassa -
Psyrassa pertenuis
Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
June 9, 2021
Size: body 11.5mm
This one has a spine on the 3rd antennal segment which I think makes it
Psyrassa pertenuis
rather than
P. unicolor
.
TIA

I would call this P. pertenui
I would call this P. pertenuis based on the fairly long spine on antennomere 3 and the elongate setae at the base of the elytra.

thanks for checking
but I think you've got the right ID. Besides, if you need "guidance and adult supervision" for beetle IDs where does that leave the rest of us? :-)
