Bee of uncertain identity - Megachile - Female

I think I have photographed a bee. I was visiting a remnant prairie (Harrell Prairie Hill in central Mississippi) on June 30, 2021, when this little bee landed on me. (I had heard its high-pitched, drone-like hum. There was another making the same sound but I never saw the second insect.) The little (and very attractive) bee seemed to be attracted to my sweat.
