Dichrorampha sp ?? - Dichrorampha petiverella

Dichrorampha sp ?? - Dichrorampha petiverella
Stevenson, Skamania County, Washington, USA
June 20, 2008
10-20 individuals watched for several days in home garden. During most of day seemed to be inactive unless approached too closely. Towards dusk they would perform their mating flight. Saw mating but no egg-laying seen. Very wary moths. In some moths the large pale cream colored mark was a little more acute at the distal end.
