Spotted Ramellogammarus - Ramellogammarus
Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon, USA

Size: ~10mm
This individual was caught in a shallow part of a riffle in the Willamette River at the Willamette River Greenway in south Corvallis. It is a different species than others I photographed. I put the specimen in a plastic tub of river water, photographing it with my underwater camera. Then I released it unharmed. I love the beautiful orange spotting on this individual.
