This looks like an Eastern Red Damsel - Amphiagrion saucium. There's an image in the 'Damselflies of the North Woods' book that looks like it. Would that be correct? There are 2 additional images along with this image, one more of the Red Damsel, and another of a Damsel very near it, and I'm wondering if that one is related, species-wise?

I agree it looks like an Eastern red damsel. I can't comment on the third picture.
