Aspilota sp. - Aspilota
St-Hippolyte, Laurentides County, Quebec, Canada
June 13, 2021
Captured with a Voegtlin suction-trap. Part of a biodiversity study on Hymenoptera for Colin Favret's lab. Keyed to genus using the "Manual for the North american genera of Braconidae" (1987) then verified with specimens in the Ouellet-Robert collection.

Any chance you can add more pictures?

New pictures
We still have access to the specimens and I'll gladly add more pictures, though I am unsure I can get the exact same specimen (we caught quite a few of those, which is also why I was interested in finding out what they were). If I'm unsure it's the same as this one, I'll just start a new thread and move it to the newly created page and I'll gladly include any close-ups that you would deem useful (I am unsure as to what would be necessary for that genus). We're still working through all of the specimens we're catching every week for this study and have access to excellent photographic/focus-stacking equipment.
