90° and sunny; watching butterflies feeding on Dame's Rocket in Backyard suburban garden. I posted a couple of photos of my butterflies...photos I thought were Painted Ladies on the Nebraska Butterfly Facebook page. One person thought this one was an American Lady. Spent some time comparing my photos...taken over a 5 minute time period...and now think that I had both of these species. I have only a few photos of American Ladies and none from my yard, so just assumed all were Painted Ladies.
