Size: 6mm
Sticky "cotton ball" walking on patio table. I didn't realized the ball was sticky and got stuck on my cel phone. Underneath was that insect trying to break free. I have many pictures of it if you want to see more.

No Idea No Idea No Idea  woolly aphids ?

Incidentally, 1 or 2 Chrysopa are known to carry debris of woolly aphids. It might be one of them, though verification would probably have to come from Dr. Catherine Tauber. The facial markings in photo #2 as ell as the lateral shot would, I'd think, make it more likely to be positively identifiable.
