Size: ~10 mm
This beauty landed on a flower pot and was quite cooperative in staying put for a little while.

This would be a new genus for BugGuide.

Darmistus Broad-headed Bugs resemble those of genus Protenor.
There are three Nearctic Darmistus species.
Darmistus subvittatus is found in Southern California.
