This is a new data point for Quebec and the entire eastern half of North America. I'm not sure of the gender.
This species ranges across Europe (Nearctic, Palearctic) and into the Near East. (accidentally introduced into British Columbia in 1979)

It's probably one of the two below. The marked abdomen and checkered fringe are different from Hemithea.

I think that yours is probably the first choice due to the wing shapes, but we should double-check it. The males are easy to separate sometimes, (by antennae) but the females are not.

The first mention approved by Ministry of Wildlife, Forest and Park (DNA test) was on july 9, 2017 in Beauport near Québec City and there are another 8 mentions in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures near Québec City, june and july 2020-2021: In Quebec we have now 11 records for Hemithae aestivaria
