Calasesia coccinea? - Calasesia coccinea
Comanche National Grasslands, Devil's Canyon, Otero County, Colorado, USA
June 21, 2021
I found this moth while hiking around the Devil's Canyon area of Comanche National Grasslands, west of Hwy 350. After posting it on Arthropods Colorado and Wyoming Facebook page, another user identified it as Calasesia coccinea. It's my understanding that it's not supposed to be where it was found.

Moth ID
Correct ID.
They are found where their food plants exists.
