American Hornet Moth - Sesia tibiale -

Ralph/Norway Lake, Dickinson County, Michigan, USA
August 7, 1982
Size: 12-19 mm wing lenght

This specimen was collected by William Taft with the use of a net and a ZZA pheromone lure. This species flys in late summer in the northern United States and Canada.
