Diceroprocta olympusa
I have been reviewing the images in each taxon and comparing images to specimens in my collection. I had mentioned the possibility of this individual being D. olympusa. After closer scrutiny, I'm convinced this is in fact a D. olympusa. Unfortunately, D. olympusa has several color variations, one of which is very similar in appearance to D. viridifascia.

The "Z" is too well pronounced in this individual coupled with an overall more dorso-ventral compressed appearance. These characters are much more indicative of D. olympusa.

As I stated in an earlier post: "Another possibility is Diceroprocta olympusa (both olympusa and viridifascia can overlap in color forms). There is slight indications of a smoky "Z" in the wing, a trait seen in olympusa. Several more pic's or a more dorsal image might be more revealing."

Diceroprocta viridifascia ?
Seaside Cicada, Salt Marsh Cicada, Coastal Scrub Cicada are all common names for this species.

Refer to this taxon for cross reference.
