We have always talked about going to see the prairies, savannas
and bogs around Toledo sometime.

One of those confusing litter moths
We would suggest genus Zanclognatha. It has the pale spot on A7 of Z lituralis, but we don't see the dark marks on the sides or back. Looks like Z cruralis but for that bright yellow spot on A7. aaargh!

I sure picked the wrong little cat to photograph! :) I will post it in iNaturalist as genus Zanclognatha for a starting point ... maybe someone who spends time in that area will recognize and take it further. Great to hear from you John! I am thinking that the Highland Nature Sanctuary might be a good place for a BugGuide gathering at some point ...
