Size: .25 in long
Mating pair of unknown small bees on a sunflower. South Zone Community Garden, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. 18 July 2021. Males smaller than females. Lots of mating pairs. Males seem to 'guard' a sunflower and immediately go to a female when it lands. In other cases, there are several males hovering around a female. likely the same sp as image https://bugguide.net/node/view/2007322.
