Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) - Agraulis incarnata
Bowling Green, Wintergarden/St. John's Nature Preserve, Wood County, Ohio, USA

Gulf Fritillaries are a very rare sight in Ohio, with only 3 or 4 verified records for the entire state, as I learned from the Ohio Lepidopterists organization. Bowling Green is located in the northwest portion of the state, only about an hour's drive from the Michigan state line.
