That is the expected species for Florida. So I will move the image there.
However, I have no idea how to eliminate the several similar species found in the Caribbean, to Costa Rica and South America.
BOLD has quite a few unidentified species near (#7060.1) Synchlora gerularia, but none of them have been found in Florida, so far.

Thanks Bob and thanks for the heads up on Synchlora gerularia. It certainly looks tough to distinguish from xysteraria. We should probably expect it here as it is already in Texas.
