I have a series of what I *thought* was Tisactia from the same collecting event:

I was basing that ID off of bugguide images that showed the same imbedded scutellum.
This series is larger and much hairier, and the scutellum rather normal, but the two both have the same fairly broadly separated procoxae with parallel lines.

these do remind me of what i sometimes get @ porch lights...
...and call Tisactia -- they key out well, i'll compare when i get back to my cryptophagid holdings
