Eropterus trilineatus

Eropterus trilineatus
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
July 13, 2008
Size: Maybe around 6.5 mm?
Came to the light at night. I believe that this is the female of the species, but would like confirmation or correction.

Eropterus trilineatus (Melsheimer, 1846)
S. Kazantsev det.

Wow!
I had assumed it was just a female vs. male difference in the antennae. Of course the overall shape (especially the "shoulders") is quite different. Rectangle vs. teardrop, but I again assumed gender related as I never see them, then within 24 hours they both come.

there, there...
