odd genus name
when the genus Info page says "most diverse in Australia; 2 spp. known from Africa (of which 1 apparently established in the US)". Was this genus originally described from species in New Zealand? TIA

Yes, indeed
It was described from New Zealand by Tillyard in 1923.
