Orange and black leaf beetle - Bassareus mammifer
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
July 12, 2008
Size: 4.2 mm
Can anyone identify this Cryptocephalinae? In Stephen Marshall's book, Bassareus mammifer and Cryptocephalus notatus look similar but not a perfect match.

Moved
Moved from The Casebearers.

Cryptocephalus quadruplex
probably Cryptocephalus quadruplex

This is Bassareus mammifer.

the same thing
