Sawfly Larvae? - Atomacera decepta

Sawfly Larvae? - Atomacera decepta
Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, USA
July 12, 2008
Size: 1 CM
I have found these on a Habiscus the last couple years...there is generally a bunch of them and they can take down all the leaves on the bush...I kept looking in caterpillar books but couldn't find it! Now think it may be a Sawfly Larvae? Can someone confirm?
