Yes, this is Valenzuela, but I dare not go further. It could be V. perplexus, but dissection would probably be necessary to confirm. Mockford lists Alberta in the range of perplexus, but I doubt this species reaches as far east as your post.

Could it be a 'teneral' V. flavidus. Looking through my trove of images from the last few nights I’ve found a couple of what appear to be typical flavidus. I'll post those shortly.
