Continuing Pyraustae, mating? - Pyrausta

Continuing Pyraustae, mating? - Pyrausta
West Linn, Clackamas County, Oregon, USA
August 13, 2021
Size: ~20mm
Infatuated with Pyraustae, returned to my daughter's yard and found a single Pyrausta, later to be determined(?),in viewing photos, to be a pair. 3 images of the same individual, twice rightsideup , once the opposite(?), Image 7550 does not show 2 moths and the abdomen is not visible. if I'm viewing correctly. Wing patterns on each appear identical verifying this is the same individual. I'm using my long-time birding camera EOS 7D EF IS AF which seems not ideally suited to small insects See full frame image. 1.5m closest focus which I use virtually always, not close enough for small insects. Working on camera issues. PREVIOUS IMAGES

Total 4 individuals in this small yard, each uniquely identifiable by pattern. Note that all hold their wings 'spread eagle' so that inner and outer wings are visible, in contrast to most Pyrausta on BugGuide which only show the outer wing in a triangular dorsal view.
NOTE: The first image shows a single individual, abdomen not visible. The other two images show a different individual and I believe the abdomen showing is the other sex. Hence mating.
