Tiny pin head bug - Callosobruchus

Tiny pin head bug - Callosobruchus
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
August 23, 2021
Size: sewing pin head sized
I've seen one of these a few times on kitchen counter so far. They have a hard shell when I squashed it. The closest thing I could find on line that almost looked like it was a bruchus, But, none of the images have the same brownish red colour. It's the size of a sewing straight pin head. Picture was difficult to take. Please help. Thank you.

Callosobruchus maculatus
I googled that name & it looked just like my pest, I am now racking my brain , where they came from, We don't buy legumes. Didn't see them in cupboards.
