Myopsocidae - Myopsocus adventive-established-california

Myopsocidae - Myopsocus adventive-established-california
Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California, USA

I think move to Myopsocidae is safe.

Moved

I agree
Sure looks like other posts from California of an apparently introduced species of Myopsocus.

Thanks, Diane!
These seem harder to recognize on an unpainted fence. It makes a surprising difference how much a light background helps me see the colors and patterns. That aside, it is still fun seeing them during daylight hours on a fence instead of at night on a porch or windowsill.

I am going to look for them again very soon!

Bugguide: This is an idea to make the large size available for viewing. I plan to check in the forum if this is considered OK or not!

Normally I wouldn't post it this large to begin with, but Dr. Mockford is currently researching West Coast Myopsocidae and I wish to make the photos easily available for him and Diane.

I've forgotten how to make "hot links" so the URL may have to be copied and pasted.

I may be overthinking things?

It's fine to include the link if you wish.
Other contributors include a link to the full size version here on BugGuide. For example, yours is here.

Instructions for creating hot links can be found here.

Ken, thanks for your response, and the instructions.
Sadly, if I don't use information like how to do the link, I just forget it!
