Titan Sphinx Moth - Aellopos

Titan Sphinx Moth - Aellopos
Altona, Manitoba, Canada
August 23, 2021
I was out in our Zinnia patch in the early afternoon, taking pics of a White-lined Sphinx Moth when this Moth arrived. It seemed a tad smaller than the White-lined Sphinx Moth. We have a large variety of flowers in our garden, but the Zinnias were the favorite. I had no idea what it was so I posted it in a FB wildlife group, where I was given the correct ID. I have never seen a moth like this in our area before.
