Common Wood Nymph? - Cercyonis pegala

Common Wood Nymph? - Cercyonis pegala
Carver, Clackamas County, Oregon, USA
August 24, 2021
Flew into a glass roofed sunroom and landed on a single-pane glass door, making interesting images. Single pane glass appears to reflect from front and back glass surfaces. Eventually captured and released.
Pyle & LaBar show a much different dorsal view for both sexes. Here, the both wings surfaces are very similar in coloration. Perhaps faded with age? Sex undetermined by me.
