tiny hanging egg sac? - Theridiosoma
Elk Neck Peninsula, Cecil County, Maryland, USA

Size: 2.5 mm
Brown egg sac found hanging from underside midrib of Fagus grandifolia leaf, suspended by stiff thread measuring 23 mm long. When leaf turned upside down, thread was strong enough to remain erect and support weight of sac. ID help appreciated.
