Neon Green Bug With Red Legs - Plinthocoelium suaveolens
Goodlettsville, Sumner County, Tennessee, USA
July 16, 2008
Size: 2.5 inches lon

Moved from Bumelia Borer.

Where, where!?! :-)
Sorry, but it does help if you crop images like this (for future reference). This amazing insect has no common name, but is known scientifically as Plinthoceolium suaveolens, one of the longhorned beetles in the family Cerambycidae. Great find! A completley harmless insect, by the way, as the vast majority of insects are.
