Even though you might be out of the range, also look at:

Mimic Crescent (Phyciodes incognitus)

 
probably Phyciodes tharos
I'm not sure how far south P. cocyta ranges, but it is a possibility too. On top, that species usually differs (in males, which this is) by having the central areas of the wings more clear of black lines and with the edges a bit more blurred. I'm pretty sure this is P. tharos though.
