Neotibicen latifasciatus?
I've been hearing a lot of scissor grinder calls lately, leading me to believe it could have been one of these, pre-mating.

Probably not, latifasciatus always has large doubled pruinose bars or stripes and this cicada has only one

Evidence in favor of Neotibicen tibicen
N. tibicen would make sense, as I have videos to identify the mating call that matches closely with resources I can find on the internet. I don't have any audio to specifically link *this* cicada to, but I am aware of calls matching N. tibicen and Neocicada hieroglyphica to the area. It doesn't quite look like a hieroglyph cicada though, so my money would be on N. tibicen. I'm not sure where I can post the audio though.

Neotibicen canicularis isn’t found anywhere near Florida
It’s something in the pruinosus group

It seems to have a line bisecting the pronotal collar, but it doesn't quite look like robinsonianus

Neotibicen tibicen
Pretty sure it is Neotibicen tibicen ssp australis, which replaces N. tibicen tibicen in Florida.

ssp australis has a green pronotal collar and can look a lot like pruinosus.
