Dirt-colored Seed Bug - Pseudopachybrachius vinctus

Dirt-colored Seed Bug - Pseudopachybrachius vinctus
Beverly Hills Foothills, Los Angeles County, California, USA
August 27, 2021
Size: ~ 5 mm
Attracted to UV light sheet at night

size at least 2x overestimated... what's the thread count?
please leave the size field blank unless you have an accurate measurement; estimates hurt rather than improve your chances for a good id
great shot, btw!

Thank you for the feedback!
I have been trying to work out an universal way to get accurate measurements and thread count is a great idea. This sheet works out to be about 80 threads per inch (I have shots of other insects with a ruler placed next to them). With that said, this P. vinctus works out to be 3/16”, or about 5 mm (head to tail).
