Size: Large, 1 1/2 inch
This spider was in a marshy area sitting on a leaf waiting for a Great Spangled Fritillary butterfly nectaring on the flower to get close enough. As the butterfly got closer, the large spider lunged, but the butterfly got away.

I believe that it was the Pisaurina mira because of the lighter color and the brown dagger like marking that shows clearly in your middle photo. Thanks.
