What type of megachile do I have nesting in my old mason bee tubes? - Megachile

What type of megachile do I have nesting in my old mason bee tubes? - Megachile
Northeast Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA
September 3, 2021
Size: 16 mm?
I’ve left old mason bee tubes at 8 mm out for the summer and found they’ve been used by these bees pictured. A few of the tubes, the ones with the bee “tails” hanging out just recently had a few new bees emerge. So do these bee “ tails” belong to those new bees that just emerged a few days ago, or other bees?
I’d really like to know what kind of bees these are!
Thanks
