Dead Leaf Butterfly/Moth - Polygonia

Dead Leaf Butterfly/Moth - Polygonia
Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
September 7, 2021
Size: As seen, 2cm nose-to-tail
It is a moth or butterfly of some kind. It was sitting on my work windowsill and flew away when someone walked past. The underside of the wings as seen in the image appear as dead foliage (sort of like the Question Mark but they are not known to exist here).
