Wasp with White Spots on Thorax on Chives - Eremnophila aureonotata
Junction City, 15 mi. SE, Bottomland prairie restoration, Geary County, Kansas, USA

This lovely wasp with a white face, blue-black abdomen, and a black thorax with a row of white spots, was enjoying the nectar from a remnant patch of chives, leftover from a farm-yard garden, now abandoned.
