root-maggot fly with red legs

root-maggot fly with red legs
Lidke Mill, Howard County, Iowa, USA
May 16, 2020
Size: ~7 mm
This is the first root-maggot fly I've found that has red legs. I'm not sure if that can help identify it or not.

Pegomya group
Thanks for narrowing this root-maggot fly down to the Pegomya group, John. I noticed that I've found other root-maggot flies in the Pegomya group that didn't have red legs but this gives me a good idea on where to look if I find another root-maggot fly with red legs.
