Size: 1cm
This is by far one of the worst biting insects to have EVER bitten me. It hurt so bad for such a long time. And then a fiend was bitten after bit another. Never in my 34 years of life have I seen this bug. And I e lived the same city my whole life.

Pattycake1986, I'm quite sorry this happened as this should not have been your first experience on the site. There is absolutely no reason why images should be frassed before an ID can be attempted and communicated - especially cases like this where a species ID is possible.

I also wish nothing but encouragement to the contributor. However, I had felt the photo quality could improve, but am also fine with this staying in ID request. Where on the website does it say frass is defined only by whether it can receive a specific ID? Other factors such as photo quality are mentioned.
