Ischyropalpus sp. - Ischyropalpus nitidulus

Ischyropalpus sp. - Ischyropalpus nitidulus
Camino Alto Preserve, Mill Valley, Marin County, California, USA
September 13, 2021
Size: 2.6 mm
Beat from California Bay tree and collected. Hatchet-shaped distal palpomere point to this genus, I think. I tried to key in Warner 1973, but the details of the elytral punctures are beyond my ken and my scope mag, I think.

Ischyropalpus nitidulus
it is. The punctation form on the front of the head is helpful.
