Large Spider -ID help please - Dolomedes tenebrosus - female

Large Spider -ID help please - Dolomedes tenebrosus - Female
Point Claire, Quebec, Canada
July 19, 2008
Size: Legspan over 2"
This large spider was under the eaves (in a web), and near two large cluster of hatchlings. The abdomen was rather withered, and you can see where one of the forelegs has regenerated. She was not aggressive and was handled easily.

Any ideas? I thought wolf spider, but the eye configuration does not match what I could find.

Thanks
The eyes certainly look like a fit.

Much appreciated
