Unknown spider - Coras

Unknown spider - Coras
Saint-Joachim, Côte-de-Beaupré County, Quebec, Canada
September 21, 2021
Size: Roughly 10-12mm
Found late at night, standing in the doorway of the room I was in. Basement unit. Quite fast, ran towards me after I sat taking pics for 30-45 secs then ran over to the baseboards. Stood around for a while before running off out of sight.

See quite a lot of grass spiders down here, along with occassionally an eastern parsons. First mistook for a grass spider based on size and shape until I'd started taking pictures and noticed it lacked the characteristic stripe I'm used to seeing.

Didn't seem to match any of the funnelweaver or typical house spider species I could find. Particularly as it has banded legs (doesn't seem to be a characteristic of Eratigena), and it's chevrons are facing the opposite direction to the reference pics I've looked at for those species.

Maybe a Coras
