Earwig - Vostox - female

Earwig - Vostox - Female

Please help with ID.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Little Earwigs.

Moved from Earwigs.

The feet are wrong for Forficulidae or Chelisochidae, the wings are wrong for Anisolabididae/Carcinophoridae, the antennae and the thorax-coloration are wrong for Labiduridae, and it looks nothing like Pygidicranidae. That just leaves Labiidae.

This has enough detail that we should be able to narrow it down further. Off the top of my head, Vostox brunneipennis looks good- especially since it's been reported from Oklahoma:

ID...
Nice pic of the common female European earwig (Forficula auricularia).

Not European earwig.
Moving this back to order page for now.

Looks like an earwig.

It is.
