Beach Fly. Dolichopodinae? - Lispe

A pretty modest beach, adjacent to a cabbage field. . Long-legged Flies. PNW Insects (Peterson 2018) p.318. 200 spp in PNW. Some prey on aquatic insects. See e.g. . I spent a lot of time Birding in San Mateo County on SF Bay tidelands as a kid. I remember such flies well. Of course, that was in salt water.
