Sympherobius umbratus

Sympherobius umbratus
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 30, 2008
While processing this image of a small black "caddis", I started to wonder if it was Trichoptera? Maybe Hemerobiidae (Brown Lacewings) or my belief Sisyridae (Spongeflies), maybe even Sisyra ??? Any guesses out there? Came to the light at night. Pretty small, MAYBE 7 mm nose to wingtip, but I'm not really sure. I really had to lighten the image to bring out any detail in the wing veins.

Moved
Moved from Spongeflies. I put this with my other images taken around the same time, but maybe I should frass instead.

#204315 Identification – Hemerobiidae or Sisyridae sp.
Identification. This is either a sisyrid of the genus Sisyra, or Sympherobius umbratus. The characters distinguishing the two are difficult to made out with certainty here.

Sisyridae
nice little things. visit my light quite regularly

I wonder
could you look at these 2 and see if I have placed them correctly?

I thought that they belonged here http://bugguide.net/node/view/86576/bgimage because of this image but now I'm not sure.

Thanks
Horrible contrast and lighting, but I thought the veins looked correct. I assume I will have other chances to upgrade this :-)
