Identification

Forewing is gray with a large reniform spot outlined in black. (1)

Range

Alberta west to British Columbia south to Oregon.

Habitat

Subalpine forests of the Cascades and Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Season

Adults have been collected in July and August.
