The Weidemeyer's were out in force today. Other than some little skippers, it was the only species of butterfly I saw. This pic shows the adult perched on an aspen, one of its larval host plants.

Heidi, Very nice photo. Although they don't fly here in North Carolina but I love this butterfly. Nice profile shot. Thanks for sharing.
